Table of Contents
Overview
Cloudy is a feature-rich Discord music bot designed to provide a seamless music experience for your server. Whether you're searching for songs, playing music from supported URLs, managing playlists, or using an interactive control panel, Cloudy makes it easy to enjoy music with your community.
Prerequisites
Before using Cloudy, ensure that:
- •Cloudy has been invited to your Discord server.
- •Cloudy has permission to join and speak in voice channels.
- •You are connected to a voice channel before attempting to play music.
If Cloudy is already available in your server, you can proceed directly to the next section.
Playing Music
The primary way to play music is through the /play command.
Command syntax: /play <song name or URL>
The command supports both search queries and direct URLs from supported music platforms.
Playing Music by Song Name
Use /play followed by the song name to search and play music.
Example: /play Shape of You
Cloudy will search for matching tracks and display the available results. Once a track is selected, it will be added to the queue and playback will begin automatically.

Playing Music by URL
Cloudy also supports direct playback using supported song and playlist URLs.
Example: /play https://open.spotify.com/track/...
When a valid URL is provided, Cloudy will automatically load the content and add it to the queue.

Control Panel Setup
For servers that frequently use Cloudy, the Control Panel provides a more convenient way to manage music playback. Instead of repeatedly using the /play command, Cloudy can create a dedicated music channel where users can search for songs, paste URLs, and control playback directly.
Benefits of the Control Panel:
- •No need to use
/playfor every song. - •Search by typing song names directly into the channel.
- •Paste supported URLs to add music instantly.
- •Automatically queue new songs.
- •Access playback controls from a single location.
- •Easily create or remove the panel whenever needed.
