Cloudy Audio Filters Guide – Phonk, Nightcore, Vaporwave & More

Overview

Cloudy's Audio Filters allow you to completely transform the way your music sounds. These effects apply server-wide, meaning all listeners in the voice channel will hear the same audio modifications.

Ideal for:

Requirements

Before using filters, make sure:

• •Cloudy is connected to a voice channel.
• •Music is currently playing.
• •You have player control permissions.

If no music is playing, filters cannot be applied.

How to Access Filters

Method 1: Via Control Panel

The easiest way to manage filters is through Cloudy's Control Panel. While music is playing, open the Control Panel and locate the Filters button.

Step 1: Open Filters

Clicking this button will open the filter menu.

Step 2: Select a Filter

Choose any available filter from the list. Cloudy will instantly apply the selected effect to the currently playing music.

Method 2: Via Slash Command

You can also access filters using a command.

Command: /filters

Running this command opens the filter selection menu, allowing you to browse and apply filters directly from Discord.

Available Filters

• •Clear Filters — Remove all active effects and restore the original audio.
• •Large Hall — Simulate the acoustics of a large concert venue.
• •Phonk — Emphasize bass for a darker, harder sound.
• •Nightcore — Increase speed and pitch for an energetic feel.
• •Vaporwave — Slow tempo and lower pitch for a dreamy effect.

Filter Details

Clear Filters

Clear Filters removes every active audio effect and restores the player to its default sound profile. Audio returns to normal and playback continues uninterrupted. Use this when switching between filters or returning to the original sound.

Large Hall

Large Hall simulates the acoustics of a large concert venue, theatre, or auditorium. It adds reverb, creates a natural echo, and expands the perceived soundstage — making tracks feel more immersive.

Best for: Classical music, orchestra performances, live recordings, piano pieces, and instrumental music.

Example experience: A piano recording that normally sounds like it was recorded in a small room will feel as though it is being played inside a large concert hall.

Phonk

Phonk is one of the most popular filters for bass-heavy music. It increases bass response, strengthens kick drums, and delivers deeper, more impactful audio.

Best for: Phonk, drift music, trap, hip-hop, Memphis rap, and bass-heavy playlists.

Example experience: Songs feel louder, heavier, and more energetic, especially when listening through quality speakers or headphones.

Nightcore

Nightcore increases both the playback speed and pitch of the song, creating a faster and more energetic version.

Example experience: A normal pop song becomes faster, brighter, and more energetic, making it ideal for parties and gaming sessions.

Vaporwave

Vaporwave does the opposite of Nightcore — it slows the tempo and lowers the pitch, creating a calmer, dream-like atmosphere.

LowPass

Karaoke
